Slobodan Dan Paich Curriculum Vitae
This is an archival website from 2010 designed by Augusto Ferriols, updated July 2020 to respond to current standards. In electronic history it is a vintage example. The technology forces us to discard earlier examples so the electronic past has diminished value. This attitude erodes Ecology of Memory, an organic natural relationship to the past as a nourishment for the present and a fertilizer for the future is of interest here.
The reasons for this website are both poetic and practical:
- To share Slobodan’s working history in words and pictures.
- To record more than 50 years of Slobodan’s life in the arts.
- To honor the people who work and have worked with Slobodan.
- To bring to light the collective ingenuity and un-thought-of connections that grew out of years of work together.
- To give voice to continuous nurturing and vigilance in the realms of Freedom of Imagination and the Right of People to Gather that comprise Slobodan’s work.
Slobodan Dan Paich is Artistic Director of Artship Initiatives - Exhibitions parallel to Story Telling Music and Dance Performances and Art in Community Projects based on Artship Foundation Comparative Cultural Studies and collection of Oral Histories.
