Slobodan Dan Paich served on the board of the "Society of Founders of the International Peace University." He was appointed as co-director for Art and Culture, a position that he shared initially with Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
1997 S. D. Paich collaborated with the leading Berlin cultural institutions to introduce and make linkages with the fledgling International Peace University concept. The institutions included the Alexander von Humboldt University, Open University, A.D.K. School for the Arts, Goethe Institute, Gallerie Sonne, Tanzfabrik, Ufa studios and radio stations. The titles of the lectures were: "Managing an Intercultural Institution," "Public and Private Meaning, and Culture of Working Together," "Film as a Model of Working Together," "Cultural History of Gesture," "Cultural History of Talking Through Pictures," "Non-Musical Sources For Music Composition and Co-Creation," and "Embodying Ideas - Transpersonal Acting." During the same period, S. D. Paich conducted three additional workshops: "Acting for Dancers," "Performance for Visual Artists" at Tanzabank Berlin, Germany and "Imaginary Film" at Truman House, Potsdam, Germany.
